It first seems like a badge of man-honor.  Those first pathetic strands peaking out, catching their first glimpse of daylight. “Rejoice, friends! Grow and be merry! Be like Johnny Appleseed and bear me a happy trail!”

Then, as things often do, it starts to get out of hand. The hairs suddenly decide being contained under a shirt isn’t enough. In an attempt to unite with their facial hair brethern, they make their way northwards. And if things get too far out of hand you might wind up with a chest carpet that would make even Joe Preston blush. Then again, he was in the Melvins and you weren’t.
