Things I Didn’t Like 10 Years Ago But Like Now #009: Radio

It was something about radio edits, i.e. FCC clean tracks, and the “inherent” lameness of public radio that kept the radio dial on neither the left or right. Then college radio, freeform radio and good hip hop stations came along. Nowadays I look forward to driving out for lunch so I can listen to WJMN’s “Back in the Day Buffet.” And WFMU- good lord where I would be without WFMU. It’s certainly no coincidence this was writen while listening to the Best Show on WFMU.
